COVID-19 Club rules

COVID-19 opening Rules for all Members

1. Social Distancing Rules MUST always be observed. One-way systems, signage instructions and floor markings will be in place to assist with this.
2. All visitors and members MUST hand sanitise on entry.
3. Any individual showing symptoms of COVID-19 will be required to leave site immediately and follow government guidance (please visit NHS.com for further information).
4. All visitors and members who may show signs of a high temperature will be required to allow staff to take their temperature using a contactless thermometer as per our Thermometer Policy.
5. On entry staff WILL conduct contactless temperature checks of themselves for their and your safety, if they have a temperature of 5 degrees or who are randomly selected for follow-up testing, a self-administered manual temperature check will take place. Any persons showing a high temperature of 37.8 degrees or above will not be permitted to enter our facility and they will be required to following the government guidelines and seek advice.
6. Whilst not compulsory at present we would request members and visitors wear a face mask through public areas of reception and corridors. This will help protect everybody and reduce the risk of the virus spreading within the facilities.
7. Access to the gym is strictly via a pre booking system.

9. Members are required to attend their pre booked slot ready to attend their session in either the gym, pool, or class.
10. Members cannot be late for their scheduled pre booked slot. This is to ensure that we abide by government guidelines of safe distancing and all bookable slots are programmed to reduce the number of members within any one area at a time.
11. ALL Bags, Coats and Personal items MUST not be brought into the gym and left on the gym floor. These must be placed within the lockers or left at home.
12. Members must leave their pre booked slot immediately and do not stay behind.
13. Please ensure you sanitise the equipment before and after your use of it. There are sanitise station positioned around the facilities.
14. Users must not encroach the gym or entry or exit areas until the previous users have left the vicinity.
15. If a member or visitor sneezes or coughs please ensure this is done so into a tissue or the elbow of your arm. If for any reason you accidently sneeze or cough onto a machine or other touchable area, please inform the member of staff immediately.
16. All drinks bottles and rubbish must be placed in bins provided or taken off site to avoid unnecessary surface contact.
17. The water fountains will remain out of order to reduce the contact trace from other peoples silva from their water bottles when filling up or taking a drink of water. Therefore, it is advised to bring your own water with you.
18. Personal towels are not allowed in the gym and blue roll will be provided to wipe down machines along with disinfectant in spray bottles.
19. Anyone deemed to be breaking social distancing/safety guidelines will be asked to leave and risk future banning orders.
20. Rule changes will only be made by Pulse Carshalton following consultation and consideration of updated Government/Local Authority updates
21. To ensure safety of all individuals on site the decision of the staff on access, rules and behaviour is deemed final.
